With this new integration, MSPs who use popular documentation platform IT Glue will be able to seamlessly import all their organizations and contacts into Myki for MSPs as companies and users. Additionally, you’ll also be able to import the stored passwords associated with them, all with one click.
Setting up the IT Glue integration
Step 1: Access the Myki Portal
Step 2: Generate an IT Glue API key
In order to link Myki to IT Glue, you need to generate an IT Glue API key. You can do that by logging into your IT Glue account - "Account" - "Settings" - "API Keys".
Click on the "+" icon in the bottom right, give the API key a name and click on "Generate API Key".
Important note: Tick the "Password Access" checkbox if you would like Myki to be able to import existing passwords from IT Glue.
Make sure that you copy the generated API key as it is only shown at the time of creation.
Step 2: Configure the integration in the Myki Portal
Launch the Myki for MSPs Portal (note that MSP integrations are not available in the Myki for Teams Portal) then visit the Integrations section.
Select the IT Glue integration from the list and paste your IT Glue API key in the appropriate field then click on "Connect".
Myki will attempt to authenticate and connect to the IT Glue service. In case the process is successful you will be shown a notification.
