On July 8th, 2021, after a 16-month hiatus, channel events resumed for the MYKI team. And what better way to ease back into them than by attending the ChannelPro SMB Forum event in Atlanta.
While we were all extremely excited to get back on the road, attending an event after so long required us to go back to the drawing board. After all, while the world had hit pause, we hadn't.
We had introduced a new product, revamped our messaging, and improved the brand's visual identity among other things, requiring us to rework our banners, promotional items, and overall communication strategy for events. It would be the first time MYKI attends a live event as a multi-product company.
We formed a small task force in early May and quickly aligned on the way forward. We would promote the products separately under our master brand, and that quickly cascaded onto the design process, which was relatively smooth.
Now that we were ready to hit the road, MYKI's Partner Manager for the US territory, Beth Hanneken, flew into Atlanta for the event, which was being hosted in the Marriott Hotel.
Apart from the typical networking that these types of events usually allow for, Beth was also part of the ChannelPro panel along with 5 other channel experts.
The panelists thoroughly debated and discussed new or especially promising revenue opportunities for channel pros now that the economy is reopening, and managed security was a no-brainer across the board.
