A Look Back at MYKI's 2021 | Chris Tate

Last January, I wrote a short blog post looking back at 2020 and ahead with optimism towards the brand new year of 2021.  If you want to check that blog post out, you can find it here.

And now once again, in the blink of an eye, here we are heading towards the end of 2021 and into 2022.

What happened?

Quite a lot I think. We carried out countless (to me) webinars, created the brand new MYKI Meets podcast, and launched the Partner Knowledge Hub to equip our partners with useful tools and resources that can help them sell MYKI.

But perhaps most importantly, we launched our second product, GUARD by MYKI.  This is a new category of product, what we think of as RMM for MSPs or Browser Security.  The response from MSPs has been great and some are already deploying at scale, which has been very encouraging for us.

What didn’t happen?

I guess we also need to address what didn’t happen. I have to admit, I was excited about the return of in-person events in 2021. Sadly though, the ongoing pandemic meant we only got to attend a small amount of them this year. The ones we did attend were great and obviously, there will be a lot more next year.

From my perspective, virtual events aren’t quite the same. The content can be the same, the booth can be made to look similar, but it will never be the same as meeting someone face to face for a laugh, chat, and drink. I really am looking forward to attending more events next year.

What’s coming in 2022?

We will have some exciting news about our products in early 2022.  From the Password and 2FA Manager side, we will be releasing one of our most requested features in the first months of the year, alongside many other changes to make the product easier to use and simpler to deploy.

Regarding GUARD by MYKI, we will be adding new modules to this also. We see this as a Browser Security platform and it will continue to grow to suit the requirements of MSPs.

We will also be hosting lots of new and exciting webinars, season two of the MYKI Meets podcast, and so much more.

With that, I’d finally like to sign off for this year by wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy 2022.
